Encoder
The encoder may be used for speed and direction sensing. It is an A B encoder. On the face of the sensor, there are two dents, indicating where the magnetic pickups are placed. Make sure the distance between the passing magnet and the encoder are within range and follows the right trajectory.
When a magnet is within one of the magnetic pickups range, it’s output will be 20mA. If the magnet is within both magnets ranges, both outputs will be 20mA. If no magnets are in range, both outputs will be 4mA.
